P\u00e5 grund af deres h\u00f8je tr\u00e6kstyrke og resistens mod kemiske og biologiske angreb er fibrene fremragende til forbedring af papirets holdbarhed. <\/p><p><strong>Lav densitet<\/strong><\/p><p>Polypropylenfibre er de letteste af alle syntetiske fibre (m\u00e5lt p\u00e5 massefylde). Dette betyder, at polypropylenfibre kan give den n\u00f8dvendige areald\u00e6kning og styrke ved en lavere v\u00e6gt. <\/p><p><strong>Kemisk og biologisk resistente<\/strong><\/p><p>I mods\u00e6tning til alle andre syntetiske fibre p\u00e5 markedet er polypropylenfibre resistente over for b\u00e5de syrer og baser. Dermed sikrer Wiking\u00ae Tekniske Fibre et st\u00e6rkt holdbart papir. Desuden r\u00e5dner fibrene ikke og har en naturlig evne til at modst\u00e5 angreb fra insekter og mikroorganismer.  <\/p><p><strong>Ingen vand- og fugtabsorption<\/strong><\/p><p>Wiking\u00ae Tekniske Fibre forbedrer ogs\u00e5 v\u00e5dt papirs ydeevne. Polypropylenfibrene absorberer ikke vand og har den laveste fugtabsorptionsrate sammenlignet med alle andre typer syntetiske fibre.
